School Administration

David Wimert, Principal

I reside in Leland, North Carolina with my wife and my son. I enjoy the beach and being outdoors. I have a bachelor's degree in Animal Science from the University of Maryland and I have a masters of arts in middle grades science degree and a masters in school administration degree; both master's degrees are from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. I have been in education for 15 years. Before becoming the principal at East Arcadia Elementary School, was the assistant principal at West Bladen High School for three years and a teacher at Tar Heel Middle School where I taught science.
